Columbia Gorge Oregon/Washington Model Airplane Enthusiasts
The members of our club, located in Hood River, Oregon, fly many different types for models from R/C to free flight. We have a flying field in the Hood River valley and at the Dallesport, Washington. The majority of our members live in either Hood River Oregon or The Dalles Oregon, but include anyone who wants to enjoy this hobby with us.
Besides a field that easily accomodates R/C up to .120 size models we have a world class slope site about 15 minutes from the field. We also fly R/C at The Dallesport where there is also a reasonably good site for flying free flight models.
We are a small, but dedicated and friendly, group of R/C airplane enthusiasts. We welcome anyone interested in this hobby - from beginners to advanced flyers. Although a casual lot, we strive to help everyone improve their building and flying skills. But most importantly, we like to HAVE FUN!
